Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board Awarded Grant

Governor Wolf recently announced $3.5 million in strategic innovation grants to help boost workforce development in Pennsylvania.  For the Governor's announcement click here.

As part of the announcement, the Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board  was awarded a $203,863 grant . This grant will cover Cambria, Bedford, and Blair Counties.  This program aims to provide intensive case management, workforce development services, and wraparound support to ex-offenders and to develop a reintegration plan that supports success. The plan is to serve 50 individuals through pre- and post-release services utilizing group sessions and intensive case management.
